Macrame Angel workshop happening at Art Attack Angus in November 2022

Number 1: Macrame Angel Workshop

Macrame is a popular new trend in home decor. But it's also an artistic skill that you can learn from our local maker Joanne. Macrame is the art of tying knots into geometrical patterns and creating a rustic, but beautiful, fringe effect.

Is Macrame hard to learn?

Macrame isn't hard, although it can look very complex. It is actually a simple and enjoyable craft that anyone can learn to do.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes! Macrame is perfect for beginners. You can learn several basic knots in just a couple of hours. So why not come along and enjoy making this festive Macrame Angel to adorn your Christmas tree? You will learn simple Macrame techniques and produce a unique piece of artwork in a relaxed, Christmassy environment.

The Bear Stays Up for Christmas workshop follows the story and allows children to make their own bear and blanket

Number 3: 'Bear Stays up for Christmas' Workshop

Art Attack Angus caters for all ages and number three on the list of Crafty Christmas Activities is perfect for preschool children. The magical tale of 'Bear Stays up for Christmas' inspires this craft based, storytelling session in which your preschool child can build their own teddy bear. Each Christmas bear will have a wintery hat and scarf, and your child can help to make an easy 'no-sew' patchwork blanket to keep him warm too.
