Angus Through Our Eyes Exhibition
To celebrate the beautiful area that is Angus we have put together an exhibition in aid of local charities.
We are looking for professional and amateur artists above the age of 14 to donate a piece of art work in any form, painting, drawing, ceramics, photography and more. This piece must be based on the Angus area or have a special importance to you about the Angus.
These can be up to and including A2 in size which must include the frame (if you have framed the image)
This will take place on Saturday 25th March 2023 at the Dishlandtown bowling club in Arbroath which the exhibition will be on display from 11am.
Our event will also consist of a few workshops for adults and children for all you crafty people out there.
Children’s bell rock workshop 1:30pm-2:30pm
Adults introduction to crepe flowers workshop 3pm-4pm
The auction will start around 7pm with all the work on display all evening.
A silent auction has been chosen which consists of receiving a number as you enter and you can bid on any item with any amount you desire by placing your number on the chosen work, if your bid is the highest the piece of work is then yours. Payment can be paid on the evening or item can be picked up the following week.
We are hoping to be able to donate to a few local charities and hoping to raise as much as we can. There will also be a raffle available in the evening.
We aim to showcase what Angus has to offer and all the amazing talent out there, art is a wonderful way for people to express themselves and to bring confidence to people. We hope even if your are not into art it will still bring you in to celebrate the local area.
